A Van With A View Update & Release Date!

I have appreciated the patience of everyone while I have been perfecting my next book (A Van With A View); while I am attempting to “settle down” in a city and also as I waited for the holidays to pass.

Now I have good new to bring to you; I finally have a release date for the next book!

I’ll be receiving my copy of the book from the printer very shortly and should all of that go well and pending any disasters with the book (upside down text or anything…) then the book will be out and released to you on February 21, 2012! I technically could have it out a week or two sooner, but I didn’t want to compete with the new Islands and Mechanical People record on Valentine’s Day. (Or compete with Valentine’s Day.)

The book itself will be a 6×9 40 page full-color paperback which will consist mainly of photographs never-before-seen taken across the country from coast to coast (literally). There’s a running commentary throughout the book and also two poems that I’ve never shared which I wrote this summer while on the road.

This book is a little piece of me. It’s almost like a diary and through these photos you can see a piece of me, a piece of my day-to-day life and into the eyes of a traveler. I recently re-read and re-edited the introduction to make sure it was up to par for print and it choked me up; I really put my heart into this book and I hope that you’ll like it as much as I do.

There are three options for ordering. I’m going to open direct order through Blurb, which is where I get all my books printed from. You’ll be able to order this book from their site (at a link which I will provide to you on February 21st) for the price of $16.95.

Option two is to order the book through me and pay via PayPal. Ordering through me you’ll get a personalized and autographed book, an 8×10 of a photo featured from the book and glitter (I kid you not). That price is $26.95 + S&H.

Option three is to pre-order the book before February 1st and you’ll receive the book in hand before the release date! Pre-order is only available through the PayPal option and while I can attempt to get the book in your hands before the release date, I cannot absolutely guarantee this for worldwide customers – though, I admittedly will try my hardest!

Even if you intend to order the book through PayPal I will accept pre-orders anytime between now and when the book is released.
